This month our employee spotlight is on Sheila Wilson! Sheila is a Senior Project Analyst at Engage fi and has been with the team for almost one year. She is responsible for demand management and supports the operational and sales teams.
Sheila is a Rockstar when it comes to knocking out documents for the sales team to share with clients. She manages to make herself available at the drop of a hat and provide the guidance and support needed to help our clients in the most efficient ways possible. The team appreciates how helpful and cooperative Sheila is, making every effort to seamlessly assist on projects as they evolve.
Born in Spencer, Iowa, Sheila moved Allen, Texas when she was 13 years old with her parents, sister, and brother. She has lived in North Texas ever since and currently resides in Little Elm, Texas. After high school, Sheila attended Collin College and received her AAS degree and has worked in the financial industry since. She has held various roles at a credit union, a fin-tech company, and is now with the Engage fi team and our credit union clients.
When she isn’t working, Sheila enjoys spending time with family and friends. You can often find her at her son’s football or soccer games, running, wine walks (she says the best one was a Wine 5K, we are going to need to look into joining her for the next one), hiking, riding bikes, pretty much anything outdoors when the weather permits…and during football season watching football (“Go Cowboys!”).

Q: What is your guilty pleasure? A: Anything chocolate and bonus if it has caramel too.
Q: If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? A: It would have to be Mexican food – steak fajitas and a frozen margarita with salt.
Q: What makes you laugh? A: My kid, there is never a dull moment.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working here? A: The team, being part of the amazing growth and transformation, being appreciated and valued by leadership.
Q: When are you happiest? A: When I am spending time with family and friends.
Q: What was your favorite book, toy, or outfit as a child? A: Winnie the Pooh.
Q: What book did you read last? A: The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.
Q: Are you messy or organized? A: Organized, for the most part.
Q: Describe Engage fi in 5 words or less: A: Engaging, knowledgeable, trusted partner.
Q: What is your favorite thing or place in the city you live in? A: The small-town feel and our beach on the lake – lake fun in the Summer and festivals and activities throughout the year.
Q: Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? A: Escargot once and never again…not a fan.
