Employee Spotlight – Chassidy Butler
This Employee Spotlight highlights Chassidy Butler. As a Strategic Consultant, Chassidy assists credit unions with evaluating many of their key partners including online/mobile banking, brand, rewards and payment processor. She enjoys learning about the credit unions she engages with, including their struggles and goals and creating the best outcome possible for the credit union. Before becoming part of the CU Engage family, a previous colleague of Chassidys informed her of how amazing CU Engage was and introduced her to the team. After meeting everyone and going through the interview process, it felt like the perfect fit.
Chassidy is Top of Her Class and World-Class
Chassidy is located outside of Des Moines, Iowa with her husband, Nick, her daughter, Maddie and they are expecting a boy in May. In addition, the Butlers have two cats, a dog and a fish (that seems to have 9 lives). Chassidy is located near much of her family which fills her weekends with lots of family time and laughter.
Education is super important to Chassidy as she graduated Valedictorian of her high school class, graduated undergrad in 3.5 years and her Masters in 1.5 years. During her downtime you can find her reading, taking her dog for a walk, cooking/baking and visiting local wineries. She also loves asking her husband to update something around their home and testing her daughter on spelling her sight words.
Inspired by challenges (and money, ha!), Chassidy is hard-working, organized, and well-informed. She defines success as having satisfied clients, co-workers, and mentors. Proving to others that she is knowledgeable and striving to go above and beyond is extremely important to her, and it shows in her work. Chassidy believes in ‘doing right and helping others’ and loves becoming an extension of her credit unions’ teams. She also loves our team, saying “There is never a day where I don’t feel like I have a group of support behind me cheering me on, assisting where needed, etc.”
