Employee Spotlight – Sharmin Buck

Employee Spotlight – Sharmin Buck

This month’s Employee Spotlight is on Sharmin Buck. She is a Strategic Consultant for Engage fi and has been with us for eight months. She provides guidance to clients on core selection, core processing, and improvements. Sharmin stumbled into banking when she got her first job at a Credit Union. She discovered her passion for the financial industry and still has the same passion and love for the industry today.

Outside of the office, Sharmin enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and watching reality tv shows. A few of her favorites include The Real Housewives and Bachelor in Paradise. Her favorite foods include pizza and coffee (and yes, to be debated if coffee is a food)! One of her favorite activities is running with her daughter. In the summer, they also enjoy boating and wakeboarding.

Sharmin grew up in Klamath Falls, a small town in Oregon. Her favorite thing about Oregon is the climate and seasons. She says it has a dry desert-like climate, so you can smell the juniper when it rains. Yet, it still snows in the winter and is so beautiful. Sharmin attended a year of schooling to be a Drug and Alcohol Counselor as she wanted to help those impacted by addiction. However, she decided to switch career paths, and for that, we are very grateful because it brought her to Engage fi!
